Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ridgeloftcamp.com and any purchase you make from us. By using the website or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
The website ridgeloftcamp.com and the Ridgeloft brand are operated by the entity registered in Poland under the Ridgeloft trade name ("Ridgeloft", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@ridgeloftcamp.com. Full company and tax details are available on request and on every invoice issued.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence. By placing an order you confirm that you meet these conditions.
3. Products and pricing
Product descriptions, photos, dimensions and weights are provided in good faith and may be updated. Minor manufacturing variations (stitching, color tone, hardware finish) do not constitute defects. All prices are shown in the currency selected on the website and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
4. Order and contract formation
When you place an order you make an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email with a unique order number. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, due to product unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or shipping restrictions — in which case any amount you have paid will be refunded in full.
5. Payment
Payments are processed through Stripe and supported third-party providers. We do not store full card data. Payment must be received and cleared before we dispatch the order. If a payment is reversed after dispatch, you remain liable for the goods.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship from our warehouse within 3–5 business days of payment unless otherwise stated on the product page. Delivery times depend on the carrier and destination. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the package to the address you provided. Please inspect the package on receipt and report visible damage to the courier in writing.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the Polish Consumer Rights Act. To exercise this right, send a clear statement to hello@ridgeloftcamp.com before the deadline expires. You then have 14 days to ship the goods back, in unused condition and in their original packaging where possible. Return shipping costs are paid by you. We refund the purchase price (including original standard shipping) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
8. Statutory warranty
Goods sold to consumers in the EU are covered by the statutory warranty of conformity. If a product does not conform to the contract within the period required by law from delivery, you may claim repair, replacement, a price reduction or, in cases provided by law, withdrawal from the contract. Complaints should be sent to hello@ridgeloftcamp.com with order number, photos, and a description of the issue.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website to: (a) violate any law; (b) infringe third-party rights; (c) upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service; (d) scrape or copy content for commercial use without our written consent. Brand assets, photos, videos, copy and code are protected by intellectual property law and remain our property or that of our licensors.
10. User-generated content
If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant Ridgeloft a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display that content on our website and marketing channels in connection with the Ridgeloft brand. You confirm that you own the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ridgeloft is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or damage caused by misuse of the product (including off-label rooftop installation, exceeding load limits, or use outside the manufacturer's intended conditions). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, strikes, supply chain disruptions, pandemics, or government action.
13. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy. By accepting these Terms you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy.
14. Out-of-court dispute resolution
If we cannot resolve a complaint directly, EU consumers can use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may also turn to the competent local consumer protection authority.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rights you enjoy in your country of residence under EU law. Disputes will be settled by the competent Polish courts, again without prejudice to your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your domicile.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the date of the last update. Orders are governed by the version of the Terms in force at the moment the order is placed.
