This Privacy Policy describes how Ridgeloft ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and place orders. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data: (a) identification data — full name, email, phone number; (b) order data — shipping address, billing address, order history; (c) payment data — handled exclusively by Stripe; we do not store card numbers; (d) technical data — IP address, browser type, device, language preference, referrer URL; (e) communication data — content of emails or contact form messages you send us.

3. Why we process your data (legal basis)

Order processing and delivery — performance of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Customer support — legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Marketing emails (only if you subscribed) — your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can withdraw it any time by clicking the unsubscribe link. Fraud prevention and security — legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the cart and language preference. We use analytics cookies (Google Analytics or equivalent) only after you accept them via the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings or via the link in our footer.

5. Who we share data with

We share your data only with processors strictly needed to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), our courier partners (shipping), our email provider (transactional and marketing emails), and our hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors (e.g., Stripe, Google) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by an adequacy decision.

7. How long we keep your data

Order data is kept for the duration of the contract and then for the period required by Polish tax law (currently 5 years from the end of the fiscal year). Marketing consents are kept until you withdraw consent. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@ridgeloftcamp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, www.uodo.gov.pl).

9. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard technical and organizational measures including TLS encryption in transit, restricted access controls, and regular security reviews of our processors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the date of the last update. Substantive changes will be notified to active customers by email.
